CW Publications Western Australia

What is Self Publishing?

Curriculum Wide Publications is one of Australia's smaller niche publishers and distributors of self-published books.

Our publication services are generally in the non-fiction area for authors who may not otherwise be able to secure the services of a larger publisher.

CWP ensures that authors are able to find an avenue to complete successful publication of their own book and specializes in autobiographies, club histories, academic works, professional and technical manuals and other non-fiction publications.

We assist authors with all general publishing services including —
Text design and layout, manuscript formatting
Book bar-coding services
Legal deposit with the National Library of Australia
Copyright information, ISBN registration and computer archiving
Photo and image copying, scanning, resizing, repairing
Cover design and layout
Book size selection

Curriculum Wide Publications will produce a highly professional production, reflecting the time and effort you have put into your book.

Why Should I consider Self-Publishing?

Successful self-publishers generally reap most of the profits from their projects, not just a small royalty. You will make sure your book is published and produced in the way it should be by providing input and direction into the publishing process. Often self- publishing is the only alternative open to new authors who struggle to gain any recognition by the larger publishers who are generally swamped with manuscript submissions and will no longer accept book drafts from unknown authors.

Our specialty is producing a professional quality book that will stand up to any competition on the shelves of retail bookstores and libraries. We work with authors of books in virtually any area, but mainly in biographies, educational, self-help, memoirs and coffee-table books, club and business histories, professional and other technical publications.

Our experienced staff will see that your book has a quality cover, the necessary credentials, is professionally typeset, and that it is well edited and proof read for book style. We will also discuss the marketing potential, press run, type of cover etc. Some books will need considerable editing and rewriting while others will require very little. We will give you advice on selling you book and will work with you to achieve that all-important goal. With CWP you will retain all the rights to your book, receive your entire press run and get continuing marketing assistance. Your book will receive the careful attention it deserves from our team of editors, graphic artists and typesetters and it will be printed and bound by quality book manufacturers.
